I proudly present you my latest acquisition, a .... TNT!
The blade is 3.5" S30V and mighty sharp. Tip down carry, as any folder should. What surprized me was the handle. When I first saw the pics of the knife I was about to get, I thought "why the heck did Tom Mayo choose that shape?". It looked kind of narrow at the butt if you see what I mean. Well, after I got the knife it makes sense. It has the most ergonomic handled folder I ever had, other TNT's included. It fits in my hand like a hot chick in the Rio carnaval
The knife is ambidextrous (unlike me) and the opening kind of different from my other TNT's (which have opening holes). At first I had a hard time to initiate the opening movement and I thought the pin needs loosening, but I was wrong. The trick is to push the thumb stud up instead of sideways! Sounds funny, but after you get used it's really cool.
As you might imagine, I'm a happy camper.
Here are a few pics I just took on top of my turtle's habitat.
