After three years on the waiting list (well maybe not quite that long but it sure seemed like it) I got my new EDC from Tom a couple of days ago. The idea was to keep it as simple as posible so I talked him out of all these little ventilation holes Tom likes to drill into various places. It took him several attempts to complete the knife since the drilling urge was too strong at times. The result was well worth the effort, IMHO.

Specs are:
Blade: Stellite 6k .125 inch thick, 3 inch long
Handles: Titanium .144 inch thick, 7.25 inch overall length

Action and lockup are perfect as expected. Sharp as can be.
Ergonomics and balance are great. A jewel of a knife. Couldn't be happier.

Do yourself a favour and get yourself on Tom's list.
Buy it once, buy it right.

Sorry, couldn't figure out how to include the pictures directly.

Thanks Tom for indulging me.

I have one much like it, no clip though, and it has a thumb stud.

Was thinking about going clipless at first.
Then I remembered what Einstein once said:
Everything should be as simple as possible, but not simpler.
Realized that going without clip would make the knife less functional for me since I wouldn't be able to use it as an EDC.

Thanks for posting the pics directly in the thread.

actually Jason, I am pretty sure that knife started out its life like the one on top, but somewhere between start and finish it ended up with a thong hole, so it went with me to Las Vegas instead of to New York!!!! :p :( :p

Yep, I'm seriously considering selling the bulk of my folders now that I have this TnT.

Wow!

I did get a lanyard hole as well, it's just cruel to not let Tom drill at least one hole...;)

One of the things I find very pleasing about Tom's knives is the amount of variation I see. It seems that although there are definite similarities in many of the TNTs that I ahve seen, none of them are exactly alike. I really like that.

Glad to be the recipient of the "goof"!!!! :D :p :D
It rides with me EVERY day in my wallet!!

Michael, that's the coolest looking hole pattern I've ever seen on a Mayo. Tom was in the zone that day!

*drool*

I had a knife from Tom with no holes but I found the knife to be slippery without holes and hard to open. Now I go for the holes and the ambi option. Soon I hope (please, please, please, sniff, sniff, whine, grovel) to pick up a medium AP tanto with timascus scales! Hopefully I will it at Blade Show West at the end of September! I think 'zealot is getting one too!:D   :p
