I'm just curious how many of you out there have a Mayo'd sebenza?

Did you send one you had into Tom or did you buy one from someone else?

I guess I should have been more specific, I meant ones that Tom actually did. :)

I have just purchased a left hand model small Sebenza 2nd hand from an individual who purchased it directly from Tom Mayo a few years ago. I'm looking forward to receiving it Wednesday or Thursday.

I just got one second hand, Large regular, and it is the heat baby :) :p

Did you purchase the Large Regular Mayonized Sebenza with G2 leather sheath that "The Bad Guy" was selling in knifeforums.com a few days ago? If so, that was a great deal. I saw it almost immediately after the posting and had it been a left-hand model, it would have been mine. Regardless, congratulations on your new aquisition.

fyi for those interested, tom emailed me to say he did several dozen, but under 50 total.
 
I have a large regular that I got from a forumite.

It is soooooo smoooooooth.....must be all that slick Mayo'naze :)

It might be fun to see pix of the ones checking in here. Here's mine:

I sent Tom a brand new small classic in Dec. of 03'. It came back drilled, colored, sharpened, polished and all slicked up. Nice work! It has become one of my most prized possessions. I carry it regularly and use it without reservation. Something I hesitated to do before it had the treatment... Strange.
 
I have had my large for about 2 years now, color added, double lugs super sharp and it was even drilled on the lock side!

Anyway looking pick one up, I have a little cash ahead, so now is a good time before I spend it on something.
 
No it doesn't.

That is the second one I sent to Tom and I didn't get the lug treatment because I don't mind the current thumbstud, I didn't want or need a double lug, and I just had the blade mirror polished from CRK and wanted to preserve the finish
