Here are a some shots from today's meeting of the NJKCA. Although the crowd was light, enthusiasm was high. I'll try to fill in names where ever possible.

First we have John aka Komodo, who just returned from the CT Knife Show, with four very nice scores among his other pieces.

That's Gary admiring John's collection.

Next we have a few of the tables that were set up for our viewing and handling pleasure.

We also had our share of participants, checking out the displays. The first I think is Mark.

The final shot in this series is Eagle Blade aka Gill, whos is best know for asking the question, "Why can't we have out own Knife Club here in New Jersey"? He got a bunch of us talking, and lo and behold, Here WE Are!!! Thanks Eagle Blade for the idea.

Now we come to the best part of the meeting (NO not eating), the drawing for our Bark River Raffle Knive of the Month, generously donated by Mike Stewart, of Bark River Knife & Tool. This month's give-away was a huntsman done in Panamanian Black Palm with Mosaic Pins.

Sofia, the Hostess was kind enough to take the time form her duties to draw the winning number.

This month Ed Hauseman generously donated a "consolation" prize, and I'm sure the winner was more tham consoled by Sofia. Gary was the lucky winner of this prize, a small SAK.

Next we have Ed Hauseman aka Esav pointing out the features to two of our younger members, James & his sister Sara Muelner.

Sadly we will be losing them as members as their family is moving out to the Left Coast next month. James will be attending college out there. Let's wish the entire Muelner Family good luck in their new endeavors!!

Nice Pics...one of these days I'm packin' up my knives and heading for Jersey :)

Looks like a fun time was had by all! So sorry I missed it, something came up and the time just slipped:(

Would like to say so long to James & Sara. I'm sure they will both be missed. I do hope they will be able to come to some future meetings. Best of luck to both of you!

Next meeting I'll be there for sure!
Julian

P.S. Ed, was that the little blue one you liked so much?

I had a great day! First off it was great to see Gil after a few months hiatus...hope to see you next month, Gil! :) The Bark River knife donated by Mike Stewart was a fitting going away present for James... how come all the 'big' guys are winning the door prizes? I want to thank Ed for coming up with the 'consolation' raffle knife. It has already found a home on my key ring! Have to say 'Thanks' to Sofia for putting up with us...(Sofia...where did I put my beer?) I was sorry to hear we're going to lose one 'big' knifenut and one 'cute' knifenut... enjoy the new surroundings!

Sorry I missed this one but anytime I can spend with my daughter will win out over you guys. We had the annual Daddy & Me picnic today and we had a great time. Hopefully I will be there at the next one and I'll have my Blade Show booty to show off. The NJKCA will be representin' in Atlanta! :D

Fullu understand your priorities, and agree with them 100%. :D Enjoy Atlanta, and bging back something everyone will enjoy! ;)
