MB blade profile. MB stands for modified bowie I'm guessing. I R SMART!

I think I like this one the best. The RC2 one is definitely sweet looking, but I've got a soft spot for Darrel's bowie profiles, and I'm loving the swedge and the scalloped jimping on that bad boy. Lovely!

The MB profile is growing on me. It's a prototype profile. Darrel is testing the waters with this one he tells me. It looks like a full flat grind. Should make for a great slicer.

The scalloped jimping, I believe, always comes on customs. I think he calls it jeep tread. HTMs never have jeep tread jimping.

I really like this one. The Torpedo blade shape will always be my favorite, but I could see myself owning and using a couple customs with this blade shape too.

Sad. Guess I'll just have to start saving up...

Although I'm kinda torn, because I want to get into guns too... :D
Both are expensive hobbies, my friend. Knives I'd say are a bit cheaper since you don't have to feed them ;)

Sure my custom Gunny will cost just shy of a USP, but meh. Knives and guns (and watches and fine pens) are man's version of jewelry.

A coworker on the phone with his GF was talking about me when I came up in conversation. He tells his girl, "He's no different from you. Whereas you like your fine purses and shoes, he just likes things that can drop you in a split second. No real difference!" He was joking of course. The message is that everyone likes nice things. He just had an interesting way of saying it, though I think his GF is now forever frightened of me.

LOL, awesome story Hark. The Para Ordnance 1911 I'm looking at for a starter will cost a lot less than a custom Gunny, unless I miss my guess, though. So many awesome things, and so little money with which to buy them haha! At least I can just make my own fixed blades now instead of having to buy them. That's saved me a bit of cash here and there. I've actually got a separate bank account that I'm using to save up for my custom DDR. Set up a CD, so I can't touch the money, and the interest will help me get there faster.

Totally.

Knives, guns, wallets, watches, multi-tools -- these are all male accessories which get bought, sold, and traded with the same fervour as any Coach bag.

Our advantage is that a Sebenza or a Darrel Ralph design is ALWAYS in style, and only gets better with age!

Man, the more I look at this one, the more I like it (and I started out liking it quite a bit!). I might have to see if I can convince Darrel to part with this prototype when I see him out here in Vegas. :D

Got to see this one at the SHOT Show, and it's even better in person. The purple anodized scales, especially, look spectacular in person -- they're a very rich color, which is sort of hard to tell in the bright lighting of the pics.

Also, per Darrel, 'MB' stands for Military Bowie.
