McGowan Firestone sportaxe

Does anyone have any knowledge/ experience with these axes or the company? I am thinking about getting one of these:

I know next to nothing about axes, but want one for camping, etc. and I am not too into the gerber ones nor have the money for custom/ high end tactical 'hawks.

In this price range, you should get a Gransfors Bruks. Do a search here for them, you'll find lots of info and glowing testimonials for GB.
