Love McDonalds Eggamuffins and heard about these last week:

Egg and Muffin Toaster

Good be a good thing if you're a McMuffin maven.... I played with the Build One Your own bad self videmo - Got eggs allover my virtual kitchen and was chastised for trying to toast water. Sadly, the cleaning instructions don't include a recommendation for a good internet maid(en).

Tempted to check E-Bay for one anyway.

Has anyone had any experience with one of these puppies things yet??

"That's stupid" was my first thought when I saw that. The more I think about it though, the more I want one!

Well....Amazon.com has 'em for about $36.00 and includes free shipping. I've probably bought stupider things so what the heck. I'll report if eggamuffin heaven exists in the guise of this "gadget"........

I would love to hear a firsthand review of this. Our kitchen doesn't have a lot of counter space left though. Maybe I could switch this for one of the other appliances that rarely get used without my wife noticing.

If it would just bake fresh biscuits...

For anyone that already has a toaster and a frying pan, I really don't see how this gadget gains you anything. It might be cool for an office or a dorm room, though.

"No problem Pierre, but you'd better slice it first":p

How francophobic.

However, that's some great marketing:thumbup: :D

Oh man, I SWEAR there is crack in those things!

Bingo. That's why McGriddles are so awful. Who's horrible idea was it to infuse a decent McMuffin with gooey, weird, maple-flavored sugar water? (And no, this post is not sarcasm. I really do hate McGriddles. A regular McMuffin, however, is something else.)

Forget it , it doesn't have a coffee machine in it.

LOL!

I'm sitting here looking at my Profi Estro single station espresso machine as it cuddles up to the new Solis SL-70 Crema model..... of course to get next to it it had to cross paths with the I-Roast 2 coffee roster, a Solis Maestro burr grinder, a Delonghi 24/7 drip machine, a minefield of Melita gold cone filters, a Yama S5 vacuum pot, a toddy coffee drip filtration system, a Maxim Expres single shot cappuccino system, and a Bodum French press....

What is this "coffee machine" of which you speak????? :D

I take it that you enjoy the occassional cup of coffee, Java?? Wow...I am a coffee lover myself, but not to the extent of roasting my own beans. I wouldn't even know where to buy raw beans. Every time I get an espresso machine, my wife somehow "de-animates" it.

Try one of these 45 lb Profis. They stand up to serious abuse. Get the wife hooked on the espressos and capuccinos it puts out and maybe she'll show it the respect a good maquina deserves.

I just ordered some green Ethiopia FTO Harar - Oromia Coop and Sweet Maria's Moka Kadir Blend beans. You can get started roasting your own for less than $100 (including a herd of green coffee beans to experiment on). I use Sweet Maria's for my green beans and supplies. Started with one of their Fresh Roast Plus roasters and moved up to an I-Roast for more control and a better cool down. Roasting is fairly easy and the difference in coffee taste is incredible. You can find green beans for sale on E-Bay too. You just have to be careful of what you buy and know what you like in beans.

If you get started though lock the machines or the spousal unit up to prevent mechanical de-animation..... :D

The McMuffinator shipped today. Bought 5 dozen eggs, a ream of Canadian bacon, a crate of Thomas English muffins, and a party tray of cheeses from around the world from Costco in anticipation.

Enjoyed the review kidatari linked to.

No, I understood that you love those things. ;) I decided to twist your meaning in my interpretation of your post because I hate those McGriddles. :D (I really do.)

It's all just a bit of fun. No insult or harm intended.

Java,
You are a baaaaad, baaaaad, girl for sending me to that site. I tend to be a little obsessive/compulsive anyway (you wouldn't know that to look at my multitude of knives, safe filled with firearms, or my 100 odd decks of 100% plastic playing cards...lmao) Now I have been doing research on roasters and large size pro espresso machines (muhahaha) thinking this is going to cost me almost a grand by the time I am done....all for a cup of coffee. I wonder if I could grow my own beans in Colorado??? lol thanks for the tips Java, I wonder if we should start a coffee snob thread in the community forum??
