I'm looking (internet of course) at a MCusta Gents Folder in a Damascus VG 10 Core. I don't see MCusta discussed much around here. Anyone have some thoughts on this particular maker as well as the knife?

Thanks

Do a search here on the forum. These knives have been discussed at length and have somewhat of a following. Be careful where you order from, however, as most dealers are overcharging. I was researching these knives a while back and someone posted a link to a Yahoo store that was selling these knives WAY WAY WAY cheaper than the more popular knife sites. I'll sift through my history and see if I can find a link.

Happy hunting.

Wow, I haven't seen these before. They look really nice. I'd also be interested in what people think of their quality.

Very high quality. Also very smooth and slippery. I have the "Take" and am debating on keeping it for the quality and ability to take an UNREAL edge or get rid of it because it's so hard to hold on to.

Thanks for the input.

I did get off my butt and did a SEARCH and found very favorable threads. Based on that I just placed an order with www.gpknives.com.

I can see this knife moving into my EDC rotation of a Spyder Viele 2, Spyder Kopa in Micarta, Kershaw Nakamura. All very nice Gents Knives. My job, Management and my dress, business casual lends itself more to Gents Knives and less to tactical.. Those are more for the weekend blue jean garb.

What is the difference between the MC1 and the MC2? They look the same, unless the site has the pictures wrong.

The MC1 has the integral pocket clip and the MC2 is clip-less and has a nylon sheath.
