I picked this up recently on the exchange and I'm blown away by this knife. Fit and finish is superb. The only issue I can find is the blade is ever so slightly off center when closed. When I mean off center I mean by the tiniest amount. It is hardly noticeable. It opens smooth and locks up good. Kasumi damascus blade with a VG-10 core. Dual thumb studs....titanium frame (anodized on the back end) with damascus onlay. Blade length is 2.75 inches with an overall length of 6.25 inches.

This knife is right at my limit in size for pocket carry. I may send this off to STR for a pocket clip.

This is my first Mcusta and definitely won't be my last

Man, I wish I could take pictures like that:cool:. And clip? What clip? Don't you like the pouch made from Grandma's old upholstered chair?

Seriously, good luck with the knife and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.:D

The material used for the pouch is certainly interesting. :D

As far as taking good pictures....just read this thread and you'll be impressing yourself in no time at all.

I've had one of their Tactility models on the radar for a while now. If y'all are gonna keep posting Mcusta pics then I'm going to have to hold each and every one of you responsible for pushing me over the edge...keep 'em coming! :D

Just pull the trigger now. You won't be disappointed. Feel free to blame me if you have to. :p

Good looking blade!

if the blade being off center a bit doesn't effect the function of the knife then I wouldn't worry about it. Besides, only you will know unless you let another knife nut examine it. Nice knife though, I've come close to pulling the trigger on one of these a couple of times.

so it was you! i was just trying to cheapen out a few bucks and the next thing i know its sold...

The very slight off center issue in no way effects the function. I couldn't agree with you more. It's a very well made production knife.

I have two Tactility models, the black Micarta and the Corian. I'm slowly beginning to think this is Mcusta's best knife!

Less then ~$140!!! I am going to pull the trigger next bonus check. BladeFourms has cost me a bunch already, now this. I just ordered an Extrema Ratio Shrapnel yesterday. When I joined the BladeFourms last month I had never heard of the Extrema Ratio Shrapnel. Now I see the Mcusta, read what you guys have to say and Google it. Once again a knife that I didn’t even know existed becomes a MUST have knife. These Knife Co. should pay the BladeFourms a commission. However, I do feel happy. :):D:thumbup:

i had a mcusta basic vg-10 blk micarta with the blade sightly off centered as you described.:grumpy: i took str's advice and wrapped it in a rag with the blade opened. applied pressure and low and behold it was straight as a d_@k!

was nervous about slicing my hand! still straight. :D

also, they are really smooth openning and closing!

My first "serious" knife was the Mcusta MC75 Take. It has a similar blade as the Kasumi. I really love it. It looks purely gentlemen-ish but it's a real good performer as well.
