Mcusta Knives

If you use the "search" feature there has been some coverage.

In a nutshell Mcusta is a highly underrated or better said "under the radar" company. High quality knives for the price point.

o.k. so these japanese knifemakers make good product? they are definately generally more involved in the aesthetics.

People in Japan have been making knives for 1000's of years, you better believe they make a good product. ;)

Just got my first one a couple of weeks ago...bamboo textured cocobolo, damascus bolsters.

Lovely knife. Outstanding fit and finish. Very smooth operation.

Only negative is the detent is not very strong. Also not wild about the pocket clip. But, since it comes with a very well done pouch those are minor points.

At one point, Browning OEM'd a Mcusta folder called the Ice Storm. It's been discontinued for a long time. But when it was available, it was one of the great folder buys in the history of folders.

You simply can't go wrong with a Mcusta product.

I have the Take in Staminawood and it is a really nice knife. It is highly recommended.
I just wish that Mcusta would publish accurate stats on the length and weight of their knives.
The knife is only about 2 1/4 oz, but the handle is about 3.7" long, not 3.5".
It is one of my daily carry knives and everything people have said is true.
