Basically, my question is, what knife has the superior blade of these two for EDC?
The MC-37D's sanmai blade or the Damascus blade of the MC-33D?

I understand that San mai is the technique that is closer to the legendary Katana's of old Japan?

I have no idea what any of that means, good luck in your quest, maybe I will learn something from this thread...

Recently handled my first Mcusta and wow, what a knife. It's not mine but I wish it were. The Damascus models are gorgeous.

I have only one Mcusta so far; went with the Yoroi (San Mai blade and damascus handle) and was not disappointed! I don't think you could make a poor decision in choosing to buy a Mcusta...

Why did u go for the yoroi if u don't mind me asking?

I would love to get some more insight in the sanmai vs Damascus blades, they only make 1 model with a sanmai blade?
Why? It is also the most expensive model in the 3 series line up, because of the blade?

I am sure bothe the take and the yoroi are super knives I'm just really intrigued by the different blades, if they both had the same blade I honestly would not know which one to pick, now I'm trying to base my decision on the blade

To be perfectly honest, I chose the Yoroi because I liked the handle. I would imagine that the damascus scales make the Yoroi a little more pricey than other models. The San Mai is very well done and slices like a laserbeam...
