Guys,

I'm looking for a strong low riding folder. How about the Mcusta Tactility? Is it worth the price around $100 ? Or are there better folders that ride deep in the pocket?
I really need a deep riding folder. The SOG Flash II is also a good alternative, but I stumbled over the Mcusta and was wondering if it's any good. I know the Al Mar Sere is also deep riding, but just over my budget.

Please advise.

Thanks,
CZ

I don't have the model you specify, but I have another MCusta and the fit and finish is really great. Lock-up is solid, VG-10 is sharp and well finished although it is a little "wedgey" for me (I am used to full flat grinds). I would and probably will buy another MCusta, in fact I am looking at the one with the damascus blade and bamboo shaped handle:)

I have those models .
MCUSTA is with reasonable price & extremly sharp blade .The locking system is not as strong as other supplies such as Benchmade ...
The tactlity one is not as expected for tactical purpose , it is just longer than old item one .
Just buy a cheaper model blue & black alumium handle one

I have the Mcusta made Browning Ice Storm with the same VG-10 blade. (stud instead of thumbhole). The action is silky smooth, the steel came razor sharp, and it does sit very low in the pocket. The liner lock is stainless and the lock up very tightly. I am very happy with the quality and function.

I have three of the Mcusta Browning Ice Storms. Great bang for the buck; excellent fit and finish. Great VG-10 steel. Just don't bash on it, and you'll be fine.
