Wondering if someone could help me out. Just purchased a Mcusta Yoroi. Looking to add a pocket clip and Im needing a longer screw to attach it but I have know idea where to get it or what size thread it uses. If you could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

The Yoroi has only one screw available so you'd need a single screw clip (unless you want to drill). The screw itself I "think" is a T5 but the length will depend entirely on your clip.
I trust you have seen this video:

Yes I've watched it. I purchased a single hole titanium clip but need a screw long enough to attach it. That's where I'm at.

If you know the screw T size and can measure the screw length and thickness of your clip, you know how long the screw has to be. "T" screws are available from various knife parts stores online. As to whether the threading is the same, it would have to be tested.
Have you asked the Video uploader? He does mention who made that custom clip. I'm sure that source could give you the answer regarding the threading.

Yes I've asked, it's been 5+ years since the post and have not received a response. I guess I'll do it the hard way.

Another option might be picking up a pocket sheath with an attached clip. I think you could probably get away with using that last hole in the handle to run a lanyard/fob through.

The Yoroi is a good-lookin' knife; I really like mine and wouldn't want to mess with it...

Good luck, OP!

* Does anyone know a custom knife maker who would take on a clip adding project. I've googled the heck out of it but haven't had much luck. Starting to look for a local machine shop.

Go to a hardware store that has a screw thread measuring tool, then once you have the measurements you'll probably need to buy a couple different lengths online.

BUT: since it's a single-hole clip, the clip surface that sits against the knife will need to be filed or machined to mate with the topography of the knife handle to lock in place, otherwise it will rotate over time and scratch up the handle.

I've been to TSC, Lowe's, Home Depot and they don't have anything that small. Im looking on amazon to find something to measure, which I was trying to not go this route. Was just hoping someone else would know the size. Thanks for the help.

was it smaller than 4-40?
try 2-56
worked on my Spyderco
I think 3-xx is an odd size (no pun intended)

I'd send you a couple but they are 3/16" and you need to find a small hex wrench

It is smaller than a 2-56, I've been going through all of my knife collection and finally found a match. The thumb stud on a Stat Gear Samurai uses the same size. I'm just going to contact them and see if they have the correct dimensions. Will post if I get the size. Thanks

Have you tried contacting Mcusta? That seems like the best way to start.

Yes, that was my first phone call and email. I also contacted the Japanese knife direct. They were kind enough to send me a Mcusta pocket clip from a different model (haven't received yet do to USPS issues) but they could not tell me the size either.
