I've recently noticed these knives popping up all over the net, and I was wondering if people out there have started buying them. They look like some extremely well-made and beautiful folders. Anyone has one and cares to comment? Are they worth looking into? The prices don't look bad at all, considering the materials. They are liner locks, unfortunately ... I'd love to hear from people who own these (or have gotten to handle one in a store).

I've always had a Mcusta Take on my wishlist. I recently saw that they now make this knife with beautiful cocobolo handles! :eek:

I have an Mcusta Kasumi. It is a very good knife, and I highly recommend them for the price.

The fit and finish is normal for the price range. That means it is good, but not perfect.

The knives look fantastic. Some of the best looking knives at any price.

They are small and delicate, but not fragile. The lockup is good. Sharp as the dickens. I actually consider the Kasumi to be a framelock with damascus onlays rather than a liner lock.

yep, i have two of them.
a small in damascus and a bigger one with a clip.
Damascus handle one is kindda "gentleman folder" but a bit heavy...
I recently baught the big one, i love it.
see bellow pic i take during intensive test ....
using them for fooding !:D

They have one of the sharpest blade i ever seen, and their global quality is amazing.:thumbup:
I woudl recomand them anytime (excepted if you intend to use them for "batoning, praying, etc"):rolleyes:

Something about seeing those two knives in a glass jar like that makes me cringe. :)

It'd be great to see more pics of these knives - maybe compared to some other, more common knives like BM or Spydie or Kershaw. Anyone willing to post some?

This is my experiece too, I handled about 20 of them at SHOT and found them to be a little off in places. I think there were about 3 that I saw issues with and considering these are the show models, I dont know. It didnt leave too great an impression with me.
