Got my first Mcusta a while ago....bamboo pattern cocobolo with damascus bolsters.
I've been very impressed with it, particularly the outstanding f&f.

I'm thinking about picking up another and would appreciate any suggestions for the next one (photos always welcome :D)

Thanks for your time.

well , for some reason you dont hear a lot about mcusta here .
but it would be nice to see some photos and feedback .

Not sure why Mcusta seems to be pretty much ignored, it seems a decent knife...certainly well made. Could be the price, but the price seems in line with other brands when you look at the quality.

The Take looks nice...I do like the fact it has a longer blade.

I think Take and bamboo has the same blade length about 2 3/4"
I have Cocobolo Take and love it.

I have the basic damascus folder with quince wood handles. It's an extremely well made knife with an outstanding F/F.

My next purchase is probably going to be one of their newest models - the mc-141 Riple with ebony handles.

You're absolutely correct. My mistake, I was looking at the overall length.

That is a nice one. I've been eyeing it too. Hard to choose between them, both great looking.

I've always wanted a Mcusta but the price always seems to scare me off. I like the Take and Yoroi models. Maybe someday...

I think the price explains some of the lack of interest. However, once you handle one the price starts seeming more reasonable.
The Bamboo Cocobolo I got was $180...which is certainly pricey....the damascus bolster apparently ran it up a bit. But jeez it is very well made...I've paid near as much for knives not nearly as well done.

The street price on the MC-141 Boozo pictured is about ~$165...which seems a decent price.

Why must they put large lettering on the blade?????

Dunno...some folks seem to love stuff on the blade. I've got a nice little folder with a glaring "collectors knife" stamped on the blade, which really detracts from the appearance.
Normally my preference is nothing on the blade.
If they must put something, make it subtle, attractive or distinctive..like Spyderco does.

In the case of Mcusta the blade markings are more glaring in photos and less distracting when you actually handle it.

Mcusta Damascus Tactility, Quince Wood handles, great knife.

I just can't get the photo option to work.

I like the tactility models too. But I'm partial toward the longer blade length on them. The damascus versions aren't that much more than the regular SS version. I also like the Korian for some reason. My next knife will probably be a Tactility in black Korian or Micarta with the damascus blade.

I would probably buy one but I tend to not like liner locks.
I really want one of their fixed blades, the price is a little bit of deterrent but I am sure they are good knives.
