I've got one of these and it is the best large fixed blade I've ever used. At my age, most have found which products serve their needs and wants. This knife certainly falls in that category. Since the availability of these continues to diminish, I'd like to get a backup now.

First question is price. Most of what I've seen for sale is described as new. I would prefer a knife that has been used but cared for. I have no desire for one that has been reprofiled or abused. The question is what should I expect to pay? I'm not looking for the bottom of the market or the top but rather a fair figure where, if I should choose to dispose of it, I can expect to find a buyer in a reasonable period of time. As I said, most that I have seen for sale are described as new. If that is all I can find, what should I expect to pay?

And finally, does anyone have one for sale. If so, please post a method of contact as I appear not to have PM privileges.
 
You don't have the appropriate membership level to ask about prices.
That is fairly easily remedied. :)

Done at Gold level. Thanks Doug. Access to the knowledge on this board is worth ticket price if only for this one question. The level is not currently updated and I am assuming it does so automatically.
 
You need to update your level to Gold status.....I've got a few from Sean and as soon as you update your status I might be able to help you out. :)
