I still haven't killed a deer yet this season....almost out of venison........so this is all I've used my Muk for.........cuttin up ingredients for my drunken deer chili (It has beer and bourbon in it:)).......

My wife took the camera and said I should be in the picture with my Muk......

And then she dared me to lick the hot pepper juice off the blade......yes, I have licked my Muk.

Finished product.......mmmmmmm.......:D

I've used the Muk to chop up ingredients for 5 or 6 batches of chili.....and I still haven't had to touch up the edge. ;) :D That's all folks!

HABaNEROS!!!! INFI is far stronger than I thought... The heat from a Habanero would RUIN the heat treat on a lesser blade!!!!!

For the uninitiated pepper fan, the Habanero is 100 times hotter than a Jalapeno pepper. I've seen them remove the ability of men to speak... for six hours. I tried for years to get my x-wife to try one.

I like your style Ninja... Great looking recipe you have there...

Cool :thumbup::thumbup:

You're a lucky man, my GF goes positively ballistic when I lick a knife blade clean, & your wife dared you

LOL, maybe she thought the peppers would cure you of that bad habit

I should have scored a BP Muk :(

No Regrets !

Haha....yes it seems the INFI has withstood the heat from the peppers. I'll use a variety of peppers from batch to batch (depending on what I can find), but always use habaneros and jalepenos. I've even put ghost peppers in there before.

I'd say my wife just dared me hoping I would cut my tongue off. She's mean dude.

Come on Matt, real mean don't wear gloves when cutting up peppers :p ;)

:p That's what I used to say.......until I learned my lesson.......the hard way. Never again.....it's gloves for me from here on out. :D

I do it every year, at least 3 times each. Either scratch my nose, get it in my eyes, use the bath room, etc. I do love making salsa, but somehow capsaicin refuses to wash off my hands :o

Ha, I just used my Muk to make Pomagranate/Lime salsa. I should have worn gloves, I think they were scotch bonnet peppers. Scratched my eye after washing my hands- still burns. Great pics. Ya know, we might need a Busse recipe thread. I don't remember seeing that.

LOL, Brotha! I admit that I did the same tonight while slicing up some Serrano peps for fajitas. I'd sooner build a barbwire fence without gloves than slice peppers without them.

My particular problem is I enjoy some beer while cooking. And... well... you know that beer is really only rented. :o The eventual outcome of pepper and pecker handling is an ugly, ugly thing. :thumbdn: Gloves prevent the painful mayhem. Thus, after much experience and deliberation...I am pro-pepper glove!:cool:

WOO, looking at that pot I can think of something else that is gonna get heat treated:eek:That MUK is a sweet slicer!!!

LOL....as a fellow beer connoisseur yes, pepper to pecker......bad, very bad. :thumbdn: Gloves.....good.

Yep, I usually end up eating a handful of Tums whenever I eat this chili. :D

Matt,

I learned the hard way as well, I was cutting hot peppers and I touched my eye:eek::eek: I always wear gloves and glasses:D

LOL....I might have to start wearing safety goggles.

I think you should make me some kind of hot pepper cheesecake! ;) It will be hard to beat the bacon and blue cheesecake, but it's worth a shot. :D

LOL!!! I am sure she did not really want that to happen, she just wanted to see your mouth on fire. Women enjoy seeing their men suffer occasionally.:D

I have eaten a habenaro whole chewed the seeds and all to get another kid to try it (trust me, it was worth the prank!).

He screamed like a little girl, and threw the pepper across the room!

But the really funny part was later I had him chop up some more for the dinner we were making. He neglected to wash his hands, and then went to go pee!

Several minutes after emerging from the rest room, he went running back in, turned on the cold water, and stuck the shower head down his pants!

We laughed so hard!

Matt,

That drunken chili looks amazing. I don't have any chili but I am headed home to get started on the "drunken" part real shortly.
