Something that folds. Don't need anything custom. What should I be looking at? My Christmas bonus is burning a hole in my pocket.

The Civilian isn't exactly a karambit, but it's pretty dang close. If you like the blade shape but want the ring, get a Matriarch 2 and buy one of the ring attachments Snaggletooth makes for them.

The Hawk Auto by Microtech is a nice automatic version.

Be careful tho

Reate exo k looks really cool, I have one incoming, not sure about performance yet it looks fun.
Fox makes a nice solid karambit

The Boker Plus Hel is really well done. The Exo-K is wild as hell, which has some definite appeal. I'd like to pick up a CIVIVI Incisor as well, since I got onto a karambit kick.

I got the Reate Exo K and like it a lot. I have an irrational fear of the lock failing on a karambit and guillotining my fingers (which for some reason I'm not as concerned with on other knives), so I like that the blade on this one can't close on your fingers once it's locked open. It's also super cool to flip open, and it has a lot of blade length for this type of knife. The main criticism I have is that when flipping it open, the tip of the blade can nick one of the pins. Still cuts, though.

I was thinking of making a post about the exo k.
Nice to hear it’s a fun knife to have.

Karambits are a little intimidating even when you are the one controlling it.
