dear all

can you help tell what is the difference between them?

I read bad mojo site, see that mean street about almost the same with active duty. except the blade thickness.

is it true?
can how about meaner street and heavy duty? what's the difference between them?

further more.how are they grinded?

I know the thickest version of active duty(off duty) is hollow grounded ?

then how about others? from what thickness it turn to be hollow grind instead of flat grind.

I am only a newbie. thank you for your help .

If I remember correctly the only difference between the meaner street, leaner meaner, and model T were blade thickness. All 3 knives were flat ground. I`m willing to bet some nut out there has "mic"ed his and can give you specific sizes, but it`s the same blade pattern.

As for the similarity to the active duty...Well, they use the same handle scales, but the profile is slightly different. The Meaner Street is slightly longer with an exposed pommel that used to be a standard on all Busses.

These two shots show a BA3LE, MrS, and AD, in that order. The MrS is 0.220" and the others are 0.15". Differences in length are about 0.5" between each. All are flat ground. I don't own a Heavy Duty, but it is somewhere between the AD and the OD (0.375").
