Mean Street Size/Usefulness?

I need a little help. Facts, figures, pictures, etc. How big/small is the Mean Street design? Does it compare with say a BM710 in Full length, blade shape, etc? I know it has a 4” blade from handle to tip but how long is the edging measuring from end of the choil to tip in a straight line (not following the curvature of theblade)? I say BM710 because that is the only 4” blade I have, it would be easy to compare the two, get a feel for, etc.

I’m trying to get a feel for the size and usefulness of the design. Would it be big enough to say do most camp, hike, fish, shoot tasks with the aid of a folding saw? It wouldn’t chop but could it handle some batoning if the saw breaks or one needs to fine some dryer wood/kindling. I know it is a Busse but does anyone have a particular thickness they like for the mentioned tasks? I’m thinking around .170-.200…it has to slice fairly efficient.

The EDC size handle is the same shape, size, etc. (not including blade thickness) on all three designs unless there is a lanyard, correct?

Thank you.

xcel, the meaner's a great size for edc. here's a pic with both it and the 710, as well as a couple other knives. sorry I don't have a spine shot. my meaner is about .19, I believe, much thicker than the 710. plenty stout for batoning, still a good slicer.

Do you want to know about the Mean Streets or the Meaner Streets.

These are Mean Streets (except for the far left)

Tony G; Nice work! I thought that the designation of the "Mean"; er or Lean related to the thickness but I was wrong. So to answer your question I would be talking about the Meaner.

It seem that the Meaners blade is just about the same size as the BM710 (Thanks din) with the exception of the Busse having more width, thickness and choil. That maybe just the right size. I fear that the next size up would be too big which would be the BATAC. The BA3 would work but why ruin something that nice. Or the other would be a SAR5 and frankly I'm not a fan of the design.....kinda with Jerry on this one. I may have to hang on until the next SAR 5 or 4 or whatever it is going to be. Suppose to be 5 but then I read 4.

Cool, sense we're talking about r's, I can post this.

There's a couple of Leaner's in with those Meaner's

See what I mean! Pink!

Can someone tell me about the Custom Shop Meaner with satin finish and blue/black g-10 and black g-10? I think it is called a Rex handle.
