Hello,
I was wondering what anyone could tell me about this Mean Street Variant. When it was made, how many, anything else?

It was in new condition when I got it. Carried it daily until I broke the clip off the sheath. Found it at gun show for a very good price. It measures a little over 1/4" thick.
Thanks,
Logan

Very pretty Busse. I don't know the Mean Streets very well, but papathud could probably help you out easily :)

I bought a lean mean street variant at Blade Show West from Andre. He said it was one of only two made. I got mine in a Kenny Rowe sheath and she is a beauty. I scanned a pic but it didn't turn out well. I'm very happy with mine. I believe that very very few were made. Andre?

Logan 1.
I believe your Knife was made in the year 2000.
I first saw handle-slabs held on by brass tubes towards the end of January 2000.
The Mean Streets that I recieved in October 1999 had smooth handles held on by slotted screws.
By the way, early 2000 Mean Street sheaths were leather pouch type.
Later or special order were Kydex.
Lean Mean Street variants are very rare.
Only two that I know of.
The first, I sold to Scott Dog at the Blade Show West 2001.
The other, I am still waiting for.

Thank you everybody for the compliments and info. And thank you Andre for the information also. Does anybody have a picture of the early leather pouch type sheaths? They sound neat, especially since I already broke my kydex sheath.
Thanks,
Logan
