I guess it depends on how ya look at it! Yours is an original MS, mine is an original LMS......Made rarer by being factory D/C. as far as LMS's go...
LOL
When I look at those (both of them) I just want more!!!!
Comparison-wise, in terms of an EDC knife: The original MS (Tony) is way too thick. The original LMS (Jaxx) is still kinda thick and narrow. An LE AD would be better... better profile, more effective primary grind. Considering cost and function, your best bet would be to snag a new-wave AD and have it reground - either full-height flat, or full-height shallow hollow.
Of course you could also mod up a GW, or simply settle for one of the off-the-shelf .14 GW's. It gets kind of subjective.

What is a "new-wave" AD?
I agree about it being subjective. Also depending on the person, the EDC can be very task oriented. I'm only talking about sub 4 inch blades because that's all I EDC. The bigger stuff to me falls into a different catagory. Very task specific. It's not as comfortable for me to carry a larger blade anyway.
I generally carry a Heavy Duty. I carry a Spyderco Delica for most slicing but I like the HD for anything that might snap my folder. All these blades have slightly different applications to me so they get carried for different reasons.
Sorry for the quality of the pic, it's a quick and incomplete but it's a glimpse of what I consider an EDC blade.
