What's better than getting your knife on time? Getting it earlier than expected.:thumbup:

First off I have to give a big thanks to the Busse staff. I didn't expect to receive this until Thursday or Friday, due to the holiday Wednesday, but the mail lady had a sweet package for me today. :D So to all the guys and gals at Busse Combat, YOU GUYS ROCK!

For those of you still waiting, this is for you.

And here are some various grips to get an idea on how it fits in the hand. I'd say I have medium sized hands.

Yep. That's what I'm waiting for.

At least Tyrkon got his. Now I'll only have to wait 24 hours to see it: 1) Thrown into plywood, 2) Used to devastate concrete pavers and/or bricks, and 3) Stripped and polished to a lovely satin finish.

Really, Tyrkon ought to have his own cable channel.:)

Great pics, thanks! Can't wait for mine. I was getting nervous last week, with folk getting theirs, and my card wasn't even charged yet.

Called the shop late Friday, for some reason they had an old CC # for me, but it's all good now, olive/black Meaner on it's way soon. :D

Great pics! Hope to get mine this week...The muddy AD looks great but this Meaner looks even better:thumbup:

Thanks for the great pics!

Awesome pics Tyrkon -- that's the best knife Busse ever made right there in your hand :D ;)

you can stop your search for the perfect blade now...

Agreed !!

I've always EDC'd a 4" hunter style belt knife, and when I saw the Leaner at the CS, I fell in love, I'll take it !! It's still my favorite.

Trouble was I started with a Leaner :D, but, it being my first Busse, I HAD to make sure it was the right one....

So I had to compare it to.. an AD (Bravado) a little smaller, then an ABA (Satin CP from Skunk) a little bigger, more of a skinner, then it was a PD(randucci) slightly different beast, BAII(SoFla) little bigger, little fatter, SK(Raden) cute for a letter opener:o, AS, 1/4" SJ(Daniel4572)..........

The Leaner ruled !! so the next month:eek:, on to the choppers :D

Are we sick or what ;)

I'm surprised it lasted this long without being stripped, I assumed they just disrobed on their way in the front door

I just tracked my set and they have cleared Canada Customs and should be delivered tomorrow ! Unfortunately I must wait two more weeks before I can get there to play with them !

Just got mine in today. Nice knife. I'm thinking if I make the sheath I'm working on just a smidge longer, it'll fit all three Busse EDCs I own...BTGW, AD, MrS...

cool pics tl! the swell on the spine looks different than my meaner. ill take a couple comparison pics when my mili's arrive.

Got mine today as well. I like it much more than I thought I would. I don't care for coatings, but this Muddy is the most acceptable in my book. Love the slabs. Yep, I think this one will rotate through my abuse schedule just fine.

Tyrkon, maybe you can set up a dummy offender and show us what you would do to them with the meaner.:D Love your vids and pics btw.

Tyrkon,

Time to get busy again! No love for me over here yet. Hopefully or maybe tomorrow.

I like Dave B's card board "Bad Guy"! :D:thumbup:

One of the videos I was part of making a while back, on short blade knife fighting, would have been perfect for the MS. Our chief instructor would have loved this knife. But alas it was before I found Busse. All the same, it is a perfect sized and shaped blade for me in this regard. Now I will probably make a trainer out of delrin plastic or some such indestructable material.

I have to admit, this is the only sticker style blade I have found desirable for SD. I have always worked with blades and systems based on more slashing. The MS is also a blade I would be comfortable doing some of the hunting/camping chores with. This thing is thick and sharp.

Finally mined showed up, mailman likes to come late here. I just so happen to be cleaning the dirt off my rat axe when he showed up.
