The postman just delivered the 2 meaners from the Miliganza.I can see my olive is fatter than the Muddy!!!Both Very sharp too.Inspected By #8

Is that right??? I thought the Muddies and the Sages were the same thickness....

Anyone else have both can confirm??

I stand corrected,my wife who has better eyesight,says their both the same thickness...She also says it must be the color of the sage,making it appear thicker or my wishfull hoping...I do not have a way to measure these,but I did place the blades spine to spine then run my fingers down the length of the spines,feeling for any difference.I felt none,Sorry for posting misinformation.

My Meaner arrived today, too! Mine doesn't include an "inspected by" sticker. I'm guessing the janitor was working late getting some out.

Ya gotta love that guy, he gets all the dirt!

(BTW - I love my new sage Meaner!)
 
At the Wilmington show, Mike measured both the muddy and sage, and the sage was, indeed, slightly thicker.

Did the shop switch to a finer grit sharpening belt? These Meaners and Actives seem to have much more polished edges than I've seen recently. These are some of the sharpest Busse's I've ever seen!

Anybody sending any of the Miliganza run to Brian Oku for pants? If so give me a holler so I can get on that bandwagon.
