Hello guys, i have a Sebenza 21 and i got 2 markings in the handles. what does those markings mean?
Lock side: C-16
Showing side: D-16

Yeah, I've always thought this was the case. Q1=A, Q2=B, Q3=C, Q4=D and the number was the year of manufacture.

Could be wrong though, maybe ask a Mod to move this to the CRK forum?

It is the quarter and year the scales were made. They are made in batches and used as needed.
Your lockside was made the 3rd quarter of 2016 and show side 4th quarter of 2016. Neither relates to when the knife was made(birthdate) which is the date it is completely assembled.
