Free firewood sign lead to this fallen beech tree. There's a lot more available on the property (other hardwoods), and he plans to finish felling this one since it was dieing anyway. Cut into 4ft sections mostly to cut down on time spent there, which made for a good workout moving that trunk wood. Just rained last night also, so the dirt next to it was a slick clay pit, gogo 4x4 'burb. First pic is after I had already loaded most of the limb wood that's in the back of the burb.
