I read Meathead as Methhead...
I find basically everything done by Strider to be ugly as sin. They look like a poll was taken amongst armchair commandos everywhere as to what design they find the most appealing, and made knives out of that. They also appear to have shared that info with Microtech, but Microtech went with all tacticool instead.
Sure, both companies make decent knives, but they charge mostly astronomical prices, and their designs are just dumb looking for most models.
