Another great little keychain light. Fit and finish are great and a lot of utility is packed into this small package. I ended putting this one on my backpack as a zipper pull. It’s also small enough to fit on a lanyard with your name badge or your keychain without you noticing too much. It comes with a battery, charge cable, split ring and extra o-rings.
While charging the LED opposite the charge port lights up red, when finished it turns green. The light is activated by tightening the head, it will come on in low. Tighten a little further to access high. The optic produces a very present and smooth beam pattern with a decent amount of throw. The titanium body has a smooth stonewash finish and while the head has to be completely unscrewed to completely to access the charge port a built in stop prevents the head from falling off.
I recently reviewed the Klarus Mini One Ti and this one is a very similar animal. With the exception of the body finish it’s nearly identical in operation and the quality of both is very high. There are a few noticeable differences are. One is that this MecArmy comes with a 6” charge cord and the Klarus came with a 3’ charge cord. The second is the body has a matte finish with a little more machining. The the Klarus has a diffuse lens to produce its floody beam the MecArmy employs an optic. Additionally the Klarus is has a more neutral color beam vs. the cool color of the MecArmy.
