Stowa Marine Original Man that watch is gorgeous
I'm still saving up for mine! :) I wish to have all of Jorg's watches

Man, those are beautiful! I love that one with wood looking face. What is that anyway?

I'm not up on my watch lingo but here's my Swiss Legend (it is kinetically charged, is that what you call automatic?) ...it's tungsten carbide, next to it is my tungsten wedding band-

...some old Fossil watches, some I've had since high school, which was about 15 to 20 years ago. :)

I like my blue faced titanium watch. It feels so light, it's very comfy to wear.

Hi Marton, good to meet another Stowa fan! Did you check out the Archmimede Deck Watch? The movement isn’t decorated, but the work on the case is really well executed. It’s also affordable.

I haven't seen it yet, will check it later. Affordable is something I like! :D

edit: Just Google'd them they look great! Thanks for the heads up! :) I might have to head up to a local dealer so i can see how they look and feel in person

I've got a Rolex Submariner [Date], that I bought in 1998. It's had the snot beat out of it, but it still looks pristine and has never let me down. I need to get it serviced soon, but the cost has been holding me back [$500-700 ].

Beautiful watches. I wish I had the income for that hobby.

Anyone else wonder where the hands were on the 2nd pic? Took me a sec before I realized I was looking at the back of the watch. /sigh It's been a long day at work. :D

This is my favorite watch. It's an extremely limited (we can probably call this one of a kind) production watch from American watchmaker LÜM-TEC. This one features a sapphire caseback, regrettably I wish the movement was something more special than an SII movement like a Valjoux 7750 or an ETA movement, but this watch is rated at +/- 5 seconds, almost under COSC requirements.

I like your Stowa, Raphael, that'll be my next watch. I love the decorated movements.

Just pulled the trigger on a Traser Classic Automatic and I love it! I actually got it with the bracelet but decided I needed a zulu strap for everyday were. He's a couple of pics just playing around.

Here's a shot of the tritium lit up. Once your eyes adjust to the dark its pretty damn bright, I was quite impressed!

I'm still eye balling an Ollech& Wajs MP 2063 over at Gnomon watches.

I have several watches too, ranging from G-Shocks to classic mechanicals. Here an overview of my mechanical watches.

Very nice, I have the M17 but regrettably no pictures.

They aren't "one of a kind" but they are limited. I know mine is 1/150, yours is probably in that range as well.

Those Seiko 5 watches are great. I recommended them to a few friends of mine, who got interested in mechanical watches and wanted to try one out. The Seiko 5's are not very expensive, but good quality and just keep running.

Seiko 5 (7s36 movement) , Seiko Monster (7s26 movement), Seiko SKX700 (7s26 movement), are all great examples of affordable and reliable mechanical watches. They don't hack (the time doesn't stop running when you adjust the time), they can't be wound (you have to shake them) and they are not very accurate, but they are very robust!

Mine is #2/6 actually, and it's probably the only one of the six with a sapphire crystal back - mine truly might be "one of a kind".

I have a M19, too, I just wish that it didn't have the date change button. It's a great watch though, very robust.

When did they do a 1/6 run? They did offer sapphire crystal backes for the B-series, something like 50 were sold. I have one for my M17.

The date change button is my only grip. Sometimes I hit it and don't notice till I realize I've written the wrong date for the past week. I wish it screwed down or something.

I don't know if they were planning on making the model originally. There was a mix up in March and they were going to create a carbon fiber B2 since they couldn't produce more or the original. When they delivered it to me they also released five B3 (S.S cases) and the rest of the B2s with the carbon fiber dials, although since I had one already and Chris Wiegand (owner of LÜM-TEC) had B2CF#1/6 and B3CF#1/5 there were only four of each model available. I believe they all sold out within 24hrs.

I heard they working on a recessed button for the date change, I haven't hit it often. Since it can cause severe damage if hit during 2200 and 0200, I don't see a point in having it even there, even if it is convenient to have if you don't wear the watch often.
