Thank you to all who serve and to those who have given their life protecting my freedom.

It's about time.

I was fortunate enough to share a beer with Gordon in an airport bar of all places. We were both waiting for delayed flights and struck up a conversation. Spent an hour or so just shooting the bull... Who knew?

I was reading the wiki's for these men.
A lot of them threw themselves on grendades to save their commrades lives:thumbup:

I had never heard of that memorial
I might check it out next time I am in The OC

Nice pics too!!

i didn't know about it either. i was in riverside attending an Honor Guard Academy, and we went to the cemetary to run through an entire funeral detail (casket, colors, rifles, etc).

seems arlington has been full for a while, and all our service men and women kia are now sent to riverside. it will intern more veterans than arlington. it is definitely worth the trip.

exit van buren from the 215, head west. it is adjacent to march arb.
