Does anybody know what the specifications are on the Allen head screws used in this model? Also does anybody happen to have any spare parts? I know it is only a few months old since it is the DLT trading exclusive, but I broke twp of the screws doing some.... strength testing so to speak, and the threads are stuck in one of the spacers. I was a ole to get the other threads out of the other spacer. So I am looking to just try to get a new spacer. I have heard Medford will not send/sell you spacers and screws you have to send your knife in.
Yes I know you’re not supposed to crank on the screws and stuff but I was doing some cleaning and torture testing like I said before anyone mentions that 100 times lol.
I’m in law enforcement, so I test the hell out of any gear because I am also my department’s head instructor for firearms, edge weapon training, and many other things. So, I have to make sure stuff will hold up.
I am really trying to avoid having to send it in, because if it is true they won’t just sell me say 6 screws and 2 spacers so I have extra, and require me to send it in, that’s gonna suck and honestly probably make me never get another one of their products and sell my others lol.
Anyway, sorry for the one winded post. If you happen to have any spacers or screws, or know the specs of the screws comment here or send me a PM please.
