Been looking at these knives. I am not really familiar with them, but like the way they look. Does anybody have any experience with them, or own one? Really looking for opinions, and feedback, before I throw down a ton of coin on a knife like that. Thanks for the help.

If the actual maker is unimportant to you, and you only care about the knife itself, then they're pretty cool. I am one who cares about both and, because of this, won't own one.

I'm not trying to start an argument, but what do you have against Greg Medford? I had the pleasure of meeting him this year at blade show, really nice guy...no, not exactly politically correct *shrug* personally I see speaking your mind as a good trait.

I think his knives are great, I can't afford one, but I made him pull every one out of the case and let and fondle each. Amazing knives in my opinion. Especially the new "Viper" flipper!

I'd rather not say. I'd be happy to tell the op directly if he contacts me but I don't want to bring any of it into this thread.

There is a fair bit of drama surrounding Mr. Medford. If you look around, you'll find out why. My personal opinions on the man aside, I don't care for MK&T's knives. They are fantasy knives. If you want a hard use knife (also with a fair degree of drama surrounding the maker), get a Strider.

Alright, I understand. :)

I'll look into it.

And that Sir, is why I come here. Thank you guys! I was almost convinced to call em up......and had the idea to ask. No Sir, No way.

You're very welcome. I can't help but think of the old adage "Treat a customer very well and the might tell a few people. Treat a customer poorly and they will likely tell just about everyone they know.". Truer words have never been spoken...

You just did.

No...actually, I didn't. I did not post the specifics of my experience here. There is an involved story I chose not to post here and that was my point. I shared it with those few who asked separately/privately but it's not my mission to spread it around like wildfire. I realize other peoples' experiences may be much better than mine was but mine was bad enough to make it difficult not to share at least the very basics (i.e. terrible customer service). I just didn't want to go into more detail here. Anyway, now exiting this thread...

No, you just smeared him by hinting. No chance for him or anyone else to respond to this when no details are public, but the criticism is.
