Got an itch to buy a Metford Micro Praetorian, always liked the Benchmade 755.
Are they similar is size? Specs seem close, anyone have both that can make a comparison?
Also I like the look but it’s a big chunk of money and I would love some feedback. Or suggestions on something else that might scratch the itch. I carry a CRK Small Sebenza often and the size is just about right. I also carry a MicroTECH LUDT which I love but find more difficult to close than easy to open. Again size on the LUDT is good but starting to get too big for my taste.

i don't have a Benchmade or a Medford but from what I have read and seen, Medford all the way for many reasons.

Ok so I finally bought a Benchmade 755. Man what a huge hunk of steel. Great knife, I have the original clip which is for looks only.
It is so stiff that you can't get anything much thicker than a slice of paper between it and the knife. I contacted Benchmade and have a replacement clip, which I heard is much better for use on the way. I also got to handle a Medford Micro Praetorian yesterday and the knifes are very similar. The Medford is much heftier and maybe better built, maybe not. But they are similar in size and weight and if you like one you mostly likely will like the other. More to come...

You did the right thing! Enjoy.

Got a Medford Micro P Ti. Had it for a few days. Opened a box or two, cut some tape, a few buttons off a new shirt.
Every time I need it to cut, it does! One of my Buddies hasn't stopped calling me to see if I'm ready to sell.

The Metford Micro Praetorian blade material is D2 The Benchmade 755 blade material is M390.
Both are strong heavy quality made knives, the Benchmade 775 i think is not being Mfg.ed now.
