Recommendation? Medford micro praetorian

Ok, picked up a Medford. I do not love the handle material and was hoping for some recs on spa treatment and how to really pimp it out. Who does this king of work. Would love to see pics of what folks have done.
 
I've been looking at Medford recently. Are they considered custom or mid-tech on here? Their designs are unique which I appreciate and the owner is a USMC vet (as am I) which helps!

Probably mid- tech although there is a huge list of options to customize if buying new from Medford. Mod it yourself and you void the warranty. People here either love them or hate them. Kind of like Emersons or Strider in that respect. People have strong feelings about value, functionality and the makers themselves.
I myself enjoy the ones I have owned but there are better tools for most tasks
