Hey guys,

I have a grayman satu (s30v) and im getting an offer to trade for a medford tff-1 (d2)...

Looking for some advised from people that have experience with either or both.

I know that it would be a good trade for the value$$$... but i have no experience with medford.

As far as quality, materials, reliability, warrenty, consistancy... which one might i want?

I use my knives at work in public safety. I seldom use them, but when i need to use it i want something that is hard use, reliable, and sharp. I need something that can stab, chop, or pry if i really need it too.

Let me know what you think, and if you have any further questions feel free to ask.

Thanks you all!

I have "played" with just about every Medford model. I would take the trade. Medfords are amazingly well built and should last a lifetime.

;) It's all cool, I got a fair price for it and it's his to do with as he pleases.

I didnt think there would be any hurt feelings... hah

To be honest, i love the Satu, and will likely get another. Just trying to figure out if this trade deal is too good to pass up!

I have no experience with handling the Grayman, but they look like great knives. I can say that the Medford Praetorian G is the tightest knife I have ever owned, there isn't blade play in any direction. I know there is some bad press out there concerning Medford's customer service. So far I have had great customer service with prompt answers to emails and a returned phone call. I have also had great correspondence with Grayman.

I would take the trade.
