Good day,

I'm still in the fever of medieval mood, so I would like to present you guys another batch of pre-renaissance stuff :D
Fist a viking axe with 990 grams and the other are some medieval hunting and feasting knives.
Hope you like them.

These are really nice! I love that sheath. great work!

The axe is awesome.......I want one of those!
I like your style......rough but cool. Even the "angle grinder" fuller has a certain brutal charm.
Darcy:)

Thank you! I could make you an axe head like that, it would be 160 usd, but unfortunately I can't shaft it for you. It would be too large to send out of the EU.
But what do you mean "angle grinder" fuller?? Those are hammer marks in knife balde! It was done with hammers and special dull chisels!

I didn't mean any disrespect. The fuller appeared to be a groove that could have been made with an angle grinder.......nothing wrong with that either way.
Again, nice work.
Darcy:)

I love your creations! The medieval dragon slayer graffiti sheath is both amazing and whimsical and the knives and axes....wow!

I carry a small blacksmith knife I bought from you in my purse and I have received many compliments on it and the well decorated sheath you made for it.

Why do I carry it in my purse? You never know when you'll need a small sharp knife to cut into a thick steak in a fancy restaurant or to ward off evil below foot-bridge dwelling trolls while walking on the outskirts of town.

I look forward to seeing what other wonders your skilled hands will produce. :)

Thanks a lot LizaMari! :D People do say that I am a bit wacky :)
Glad to hear it, that you sill like and use the little fellow. Usage is a best compliment I can have ;)
Joyfully the weather is improving so I will have more and more spirit to tinker in the shop, and maybe some pieces will be worth showing.

Really like the axe, what are the measurements and what size is the eyehole?

Thanks! :)
The head is 14.5 cm long with an edge of 13 cm. Its max thickness is 2 cm, right in front of the eye. Around the hole it is 7 mm thick, so it's quite sturdy ;)
The shaft was 59 cm.
On this pic you can see how the eye is, unfortunately I don't remember its size, sorry

Sorry to come in late on this, but with this medieval stuff I just love the term "feasting knife"! Makes me think of spear hunts and boars and revellry and banquets etc

Oh, and I love the hardware posted here too ;)
