meditation, relaxation, anger management?

I pray and meditate on daily basis. One of the things that I do is this:
I make sure I find a quiet space. I close my eyes, put my right hand over my heart, and then put my left hand over the right. I take a deep breathe, and breathe in God's love (Higher power, whatever YOU want to call it.), and breathe out stress, fears, anxiety, whatever is bothering me. I do this for a good 5-10 mins. I have other things that I add to my meditations. One of the things I also say in my meditations is:
There are no time limitations to my spirits work. Therefore all that I do will come to fruition at the right moment. I keep my hands over my heart throughout my prayers and meditations. These work for me. Try them and see.
If I can help, please let me know.

I find taking some deep breaths while laying down or leaning back and listening to music turned way down helps me big time!
Silence is also a big benefit to me! I really enjoy being in a place by myself where there is no sound, or at least as little sound as possible. Either stare off into space or close your eyes and let your mind wander.

I was amazed at how much of a difference having a clean AO made for me. I just moved out with my old lady last month and we had a visit from her dad a few days ago. I cleaned the place as if I was getting ready for a 1st sergeant inspection (minus leaving porno mags on the table;)) A squared away AO makes a world of difference. Your house should be your sanctuary. I felt so peaceful.

Another thing I'm doing to help my situation is entering group therapy. I have anxiety/anger issues, esp. while on the road. The heat (today was 111) and congestion takes me back to Iraq, this is what my shrink tells me. So tomorrow I get seen by a counselor at the vet center for the PTSD group.

Best of luck to you
