Hi everyone, let me present you a recent work.
Its a tradicional mediterranean dirk, integral blade, about 9", made in a 5 bars turkish twist damascus, bolster with a lot of file work, octagonal ivory handle, makers name with 24k gold inlay.
Scabbard made in wood covered with leather, tips in damascus and ivory.
Its a very complex and historical piece. Hope you enjoy

Beautiful work sir. I see you’re in Brazil. Out of curiosity how does import/export work given that there’s ivory involved?
There is always a possibility for something goes wrong, even with mammoth ivory or walrus.
This specific one is from an old sculpture, but maker and client have to trust each other and treat things clearly, its almost a bet.
