I've got two of them, one a medium and the other what John "Pondoro" Taylor termed a Large Medium Bore.

The top rifle in black composite stock is a custom Interarms Mark X Mauser action with Winchester style 3-position safety. Barrel is stainless cut rifled match quality, chambered in .35 Whelen Ackley Improved, 24" with 14" twist. It shoots my handload of 250 gr Hornady SP with Varget @ 2500 fps into .35" 3 shot groups. Scope is Nikon Buckmaster 3x9x40 with BDC reticle.

Bottom rifle in straight grained walnut is Winchester Super Express in .416 Remington Magnum. This was made the first year Winchester came back out with the controlled round feed Mauser style action in 1994. 24" barrel with 14" twist. It shoots my handload of 350 gr Speer Hot-Cor semispitzer with BL-C2 @ 2600 fps into .95" 3 shot groups. Scope is Leupold Vari-X II 2x7x32 with Duplex reticle.

Holy cow those r some nice rifles what we call down here some " hammer swingers" that 416 rigby is a devastating cartridge. Nice show gents

no doubt a nice rifle helps but a great handloader with good shooting techniques certainly makes a big difference also.--dennis

The top rifle is my 1885 Browning High Wall in .45-70 it has an older Burris 4-16 scope (dont remember the model). The one below it is in 7mm Magnum and in the pic I believe it had one of my Bushnell scopes but it has been replaced with a Luepold. Not a recent pic, forgive the feet in it. I know they are not bolt guns....I just think they look nice ;)
