Medium Espada for left handed people?

I'm thinking of getting a medium espada in g10 scales, but I'm left handed, and I noticed that the thumb stud on the left side is really just a screw. Is that enough to open the knife one-handed if you're a lefty? Thanks!

I'm a righty with a Medium Espada G10. It's easy to open with the thumb screw. My thumb screw is about 2/3rds turned into the right side but it can be turned out to the left to give you more "traction". My thumb makes an easy-smooth radius when opening the Espada.
The bead blast finish may need more rust preventative maintenance depending on humidity and moisture factors.

I love my medium Espada and would recommend it.

Happy Thanksgiving!

So on the espada I can twist the thumbstud with pliers, or unscrew the thumbstud and insert it the other way? Michael T, even though you wrist snap your coldsteel knives open, are you able to open the knife using the thumbstud?

IMHO, the Espada's are clipped for right hand carry. Due to the size and shape, they do not carry well in-pocket n the left side. When I carry one of my Espadas, I always carry a left handed knife on my left side. Spyderco Military with left hand clip usually. I always carry two knives, one right and one left.
