Medium fixed blade for EDC

Hi again, I recently asked for a recommendation of what large/medium large fixed blade would be best for me. I ended up settling on a Team Gemini! I am happy with that choice and I cant wait to receive this knife.
My next question would be a knife with a blade of around 3.5-4 inches.
My first choice would be an esee 3 but the handle felt quite small in my hands. The esee 4 doesnt look bad, but I have not been able to handle it yet.
I prefer tool steels/carbon steels that can take some abuse and hold a edge.
Budget is at a max of around $250 right now...Prefer less though.
Sorry for all the questions, but I have recently been hit pretty hard by the knife bug and I am trying to fill the niches as I go!

I was going to suggest a Fallkniven F1, but the handle is relatively thin. If you're looking for tool steels and comfy, big, contoured handles, I'd go Bark River. Rampless Bravo-1 in A2, maybe.

Bark River Essential EDC

Bark River Bravo Necker 2

Swamp Rat Rodent Solution

Busse Mean Street

Tops Cougar Claw

All would fit your specs, and offer different blade designs.

Congrats on the TGLB, I love mine in Orange/Black G-10 with Jungle Green. Still waiting on my custom Skystorm leather pants.

If you don't mind me asking, what colors did you run with?

Are you open to offers of NIB fixed blades, or are you looking for good knife-makers?

I carried an ESEE 4 for about two years. I stripped the coating off, did some dremel work on the spine (not because it needed anything, just to make it mine), and put a force patina on it. It comes with a sweet kydex sheath. It's thick enough to pry a door off, and has a lifetime warranty. It's well beneath your price point, and will do anything a high end blade "Busse" can do.

I am waiting to see if this comment will remain unchallanged by some of the Hogs on here.

Not to say I don't like Busse, there is a lot to like. I just think the ESEE 4 fits the poster's needs and price point. He brought it to the table. I think if he picked one up, he would be pleased, and it wouldn't break the bank.

I lost a Busse in the forest behind my house, and the next morning there were no standing trees, just stacks and stacks of firewood.

Survive GSO 3.5 or 4.1. 3V steel are made in all of his offerings. 3.5s will be available soon, and there might be a 4.1 available now. About $200.

An esee 4 will do the job I have one and its a great knife. though to my knowledge the handle is the same size as an esee 3 handle just with a longer blade. might want to look into that. I wont say the esee is as good as a busse cause I dont have one what I will say is that an esee 4 can be had for under 100 $... and will do anything you could ask a good hard use knife to do.
