Hi guys, just want some knife recommendations.
I'm trying to find a good large/medium fixed blade survival/bushcraft knife (sort of looking for an all rounder).
Been looking at knives like the Becker BK-5, Swamp Rat Rodent 7 and some others.
I want an overall length of between 11-13ish inches, and not too expensive- no more than 200 dollars (the less the better).
Other than that I have no particular requirements apart from wanting a good knife that won't fail me!!

Thanks in advance!

Benchmade 162 Bushcrafter is a great blade. It breaks a few of the traditional rules for a bush crafting knife but is the better for it. The BBC makes one hell of a blade for survival/BC/CC. Its higher cost may prohibit a few prospective owners, but it should fall in the 200 range for your budget(shop around). I say, if you got the dough, get one! Can't recommend it enough. There are several good write ups on the knife in recent blade mags and online. Also you can search for reviews or visit benchmade.com

Fallkniven makes great bushcraft/survival knives in a couple of different steels. I love the F1 in VG10, but this is a bit smaller than your specs. The Fallkniven you're looking for is the A1 and can be found for under $200 with some persistence. Very strong, dependable tools with no-nonsense designs. There are many videos and reviews of both.
Here's a pic from a forum member who posted it a couple of years ago.
