The only ZT I have is the mandatory 0560. I love the flipper and the ball bearings. I wish it weighed a little more, and didn't have the aggressive jimping on top of the handle.

I'm under the impression that there might be a few ZT/Kershaw experts here. Can you help me choose my next knife?

What I want:
-Flipper.
-smooth opening! preferably by ball bearing, but washers are OK.
-A solid design and build. I want a knife with liners on both sides, unless it's a frame lock, or has metal scales.

Those are the criteria I have for now. The scales can be made from almost anything. G10, steel, aluminum, titanium, wood.

Do you have a price range in mind? And do you care what kind of blade steel there is?

Silly me forgot to mention the price. 50-150$. If there are any knives under 50 that fit the description I would like to see them also.

I'm not sure if you would like the lock or not, but the Kershaw R.A.M. is one of the smoothest manual flippers without ball bearings out there especially in it's price range which is around $55 dollars.

I was going to say the Blur, but It's not a flipper. I still think you should get one... or a couple.

I'm an idiot. I heard speed safe and flipper went out the window! Get three!

At the moment the only other KVT is the Tilt. I think you might like the Kershaw Rake. Flipper, speedsafe, composite blade, well less than $100. I would also say a speed bump might work too. It does have a good recurve on it, but it's like two knife blades in one. It is a flipper, comes in g10 and colored aluminum scales if you don't mind the snap-on logo! Also has a stud lock which is cool and different, liners on both sides and speedsafe.

As for Zt maybe a 0350. You have the black handles and the new limited orange handles, dlc blades and stone wash, composite blade and a full zdp blade. Thats just a few of the difference.

Really with that budget you cover a lot of the catalog! Just close your eyes and flip through the pages, stop and point! Hope my rambling helps!

I have an s30v blem inbound as we speak :) kershawguy ftw :)

Believe it or not I would recommend the Black/Black Clash as a great flipper medium size Kershaw and its cheap

I've been looking at the knockout. Unfortunately kershawguy couldn't ship a blem international. I hope some show up in the exchange here soon.

Same here, I just picked up 6 more Kershaws from Kershawguy. I'm hoping that I'll be able to add to my Skyline and Blur collection.

Sweet :) I'm at an OD-2, Blur, and Leek right now. Many more to come!

A few off the top of my head:
Kershaw SS Volt - Great knife for the money I love mine.
Kershaw Skyline - A great manual flipper for EDC
Kershaw Turbulence
ZT 0350 - I would say this is mid size, especially for a ZT. It's a great beefy liner lock. Best part, you can just take out the torsion bar and have an excellent manual flipper.
Kershaw JYD 1720 if you can find one. This is the first and smaller version of the popular JYD II. Manual flipper frame lock.
