I went to a gun& Knife show today in Wallingford, Conn. I brought some knives to sell or trade. I ended up dealing with a gentlman from Catskill, NY; and made a deal for my very first custom knife. Never expected to but I did. Anyway I acquired a very nice Kurt Meerdink sheath knife, about a 4inch drop point blade in a nice tight fitting kydex sheath. Perfect for what I want in an EDC fixed blade. I used the search function here and did not find too much on the maker.
Anyone with any knowledge of Mr. Meerdink, and perhaps photos of his other knives would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm sorry I am not set up for photos right now. I have two of his knives. One is a Mini Hunter, which is a small ATS-34 neck knife, in his typically excellent Kydex. The other is a Nematocyst, a very pointy tanto with a geometrical handle, all sharp angles, that nevertheless is a comfortable grip.

Kurt was out of circulation for a little while. I'm glad he's back. His work is meticulous and he is a good guy.
