Here he is. . . . the Limited Edition MR. MOJO. Mr. Mojo is a hybrid design combining features commonly found on my earlier fighters(circa. 1984-1989). . . .Dropped handles and forward spinal blade catches. . . . with the overall flavor of the Silent Knight, with its gentle recurved edge. . .(circa. 1993-1995) So, now we have "Mr.Mojo". . . (circa. 2001

)
8 1/2" blade. . . a tad bit more drop in the ergo handle, INFI, zero edge, satin finished with model name and serial number laser etched in the blade, Yabba Dabba Do!. . . . that darned custom shop just keeps puttin' 'em out!

MINE!

Please put me on the list. That is by far the most appealing Busse I've ever seen.

Awesome work!

I handled one of these at the Knob Creek Show, #44 IMMS. I liked it, but I remember thinking at the time that this design, with all these features, ought to be on a 9 or 10 inch blade. I think the one I handled had a more pronounced clip, almost exactly like the clips on the straight handle Battle Mistresses. If that is a clip I'm seeing in these pics (and not just a drop point), it is much more subtle than the one I handled, and it blends into the spine very smoothly. Either way, they both look good.

This model has some fantastic features for a fighter. I think other fighting knife designers should be taking notes here.

Wow!!! Another smash hit, Jerry. Great job.

Hey, if we're looking at pictures of #308, does that mean that there are 307 others already finished and just sitting around looking for a home?

Pricing? Availability? And does that blade catch work on long-necks? Thanks.

Bronco, the serial number of a Limited Edition Busse has nothing to do with how many of that model have actually been produced, or how many of that model were made before the one in question. The Busse shop likes using serial numbers that relate to popular small arms calibers, as many people have a pet caliber, such as the .45 ACP gang, and they jump at the chance to own a Ltd Ed. Busse whose serial number is their favorite caliber. I'm fairly confident that there have not been three hundred, eight Mr. Mojo's made to date, but I'll bet you that serial #'s 44, 45, 50, 223, 357, 556 & 762 have already been made and are either all sold or spoken for.

Jerry,
Gonna have some of these at Blade Show?
Since this is a custom shop item, there'd be no problem ditching the blade catcher?

I agree with Wulf. Think that's the most appealing Busse I've seen yet.
I like the black one

Jerry, would it be possible to modify the inside of the blade catch finger slightly so that it can be used as a bottle opener without sacrificing the blade catching function? For those of us who like to bring beer along with us when we're camping, I think that would be the ultimate feature to have on a knife.

Incredible!

GREAT design Jerry. You are really cranking out some great new stuff.

I get some pleasure from finding a relentlessly peaceful use for a combative looking knife.

Hey Jerry, besides the satin finish and the laser etching are the LE versions gonna have the paper Micarta such as the Aftershocks had or are you putting canvas on 'em?

I hope this isn't a bad question.
How big is this knife?
Is it bigger than my N.O. or smaller than my S.H. ?

Thanks
Vance

Hey Vance...

Not a stupid question...

It is much larger than the NO..

It's hard to explain,, but it's more in the range of the SH but not quite as big as the BM...

Put it this ways it's Alot of knife,, which I think would also make an excellent bush knife..

Eric,

I am really glad to see you back. Your entire family has been and will remain in our prayers.

By the way folks, Eric is making an optional kydex sheath for all of our knives and has designed an awesome kydex rig for Mr. Mojo. It is very, very clever and offers not only great performance but also the excellent workmanship and execution that is commonly found in his product line.

Jerry Busse

Eric thanks for the reply about Mr. Mojo.
I think I'll just wait and see it in person at the blade show next month.

Vance
