A happy boy, that one. Must be a lot of toads around... :D

Love it! Clever and creative, and well executed to boot. Probably won't hold up for very long, but for now it looks pretty sweet.

As much as the Machax would be a good tool for adventurers, you would never see that one in Indiana Jones' hands.

Nice work K9! I probably would never use it if it were mine, but I like it.

It will last longer than you probably think, Haze. DuraCoat is used as a firearm finish. I mean, it's not as tough as plating, but does pretty well. Early on I painted a camo pattern on the blade of an Ontario SP50 that was used by bushcraft students to baton through ash and maple all afternoon. At the end of the day there were a few scratches on the surface of the pattern, but it was all still there.
Thanks for the compliment!

that is really cool! did you use rattle cans or an airbrush to do that?

DuraCoat is used as a firearms finish that is a two-part process (base and hardener) that you have to mix before shooting -- it doesn't come in rattle cans. I used an airbrush. Check out some of my other stuff by clicking the link in my sig.
