Last week I bought a pair of Spyderco's, specifically the Blue G-10 Tenacious and the black bladed Tenacious. They just arrived.

Edit:

And now, ladies and gentlemen, meet Frankentenacious, combination of the two knives:

Pretty sure the Tenacious's use allens keys bro.

At least mine does.

Good luck on not stripping any of the screws to, but that combo is going to look sick!

Thats going to look sweet. I recently saw another black/blue Frankenknife here recently, but can't remember what it was. It too may have been a Tenacious.

Edit: no, it was this sweet Para 2.

Man, I'm more excited for the frakentenacious with the black g10 handle and the satin blade.. Doesn't that sound sweet?!

The tenacious I got a few months ago must have been sitting around at the dealer or something. It has hex screws and they suck

Pics have been uploaded (finally. Stupid phone wouldn't give me them last night. :grumpy:)

And I can confirm that both original knives used torx screws (size 6 and size 8 for the pivot)

That's a nice blue and I have always been a fan a black blade on spydercos. Looks good man..nice work!

that looks awesome. gonna have to do that now. was gonna stonewash and acid etch the blade but now just gonna have to get a black one

just now did I remember you said you went for the two tenacious, after you saw my frankenpara2, and came to check it out. it looks awesome with the black hardware, it really makes a diference.
thanks for the eyecandy!
