The next meeting of the California Knifemakers Assc. will be held at my place in Corona. Any and all are welcome to attend. You need not be member.
Many newer makers have been asking for teaching in the So Cal area. Well this is the best place to be. Even if you have never made a knife and are just thinking about getting started you are more than welcome.
I have been asked to give a lesson in Kydex sheath construction so that will be the main topic of the meeting. However, as usually happens, folks will splinter off and start discussing their own topics.
Once again it is May 25, starting at 9am and ending when the last person leaves. Feel free to drop me a line for directions or you may get my address off my website and use MapQuest or similar program.
Dues for the meeting are $2. Dues are not asked of first timers, but it is polite as the money goes to cover coffee, soda and doughnuts.
Thanks.
