I have been appointed membership director for the Mississippi knifemakers Association. We are in the planning stages, and we need members. We already have 100 pledges. We are having an organizational meeting April 28th, and we are planning shows and events. I can't get real specific until after the meeting, because we will set some rules and guidelines at the meeting. If you are interested or if you have any input please feel free to contact me. Thanks, garyz.
P.S. this association is for makers, retailers, collectors, and just plain knife nuts. Louisiana,Alabama,Tennessee,Georgia,Arkansas, Kentucky come on and join.

Hey bubba(s),

Form your association, have fun, and proudly fly the confederate flag from your respective state capitol buildings.

And pay no attention to VG, he's from NJ and probably doesn't have a clue about southern values.

A rodent by any other name is still a rodent.

We seem to be the center of attention for the world today. The special election for our state flag is today. CNN is here and probably every other news organization in the world. All local polls show 75% in favor of keeping the current flag, but I wonder if the numbers can be manipulated enough to change it. We will see. We are testing the processes today, we will see if majority rules. Or will we join the United States of the offended.

Stand your ground. And I hope you win.

It's a valid part of southern history.

And the degree to which the press promotes 'political correctness' offends me.

You should be able to fly the flag if you so choose whether the rest of the world likes it or not.

Ron
