MEFO MOFO question

I am looking at a knife on the exchange, it will be my first Busse to go with my rats.
My question is:
Is it a Mr MOFO that was miss stamped as a Mr MEFO, or is a MEFO a seperate type of knife and it is miss stamped as a MOFO?

Here are the posts from the thread that is confusing me, thanks for any info you all can provide. I saw the numbers Eric posted, but then Daves comment made it sound like it was a different knife than what those numbers represent. I didn't want to ask in the sellers thread as it would add alot of unnessery clutter and possiably hurt the sale.

Is this the satin one the "MISTER MoFo Satin Finish = 61" knives then, and if so does anyone know how many were actually misstamped as MEFO's?

Might be intereseted in this knife trying to put some funds together now.

Micky,

I believe that the Mefo is DC (double Cut) and not Satin.

Micky,

Sorry to confuse you.
The Mefo on the exchange is a Mr. Mofo that was Mismarked.
There was never a seperate model called the Mefo. (just mismarked Mofo's)
The one listed would be considered a combat grade with the DC finish.
The Limited edition version was satin finished and numbered with black paper handles.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, that cleared everything up. I am a novice to Busse knives and all the initials get confusing.
